Of course we had to see the beach. We were hoping to go whale watching, but the seas were too rough, even though the coast itself were very mild with sun. So we went walking on the beach, stopped at some stores, bought a few things, and ate at an upscale restaurant (McDonald's). We were looking for tide pools, and almost gave up when we found tons of them. I started taking pictures of the tide pool life, and my battery died just as I got to the starfish....hundreds on them with sea urchins and clams. I was real upset the camera died at the worst time possible, really...I couldn't believe it.
We were going to go again, but it just didn't work out weather wise.
