This was a nice park with a steep climbing trail to the top of many water falls. We made it up to two different water falls and scaled the side of the mountain…but then we stopped because Tina was scared of the hike. One could climb up massive boulders to the top of the waterfalls that stem from SIX different lakes on top of the mountain!! The town itself was very cozy…like a frozen town in the 1950’s. They still had dirt roads and gravel parking spots with that old town charm. Maggie was very exhausted by the end of this trip. While the base started at 7800 ft, the first fall was 800 ft up, with another 300 foot hike up two the second set of falls, so we peaked at about 8,800 ft!
