For all those who think CS Springs is a desert with no water or trees, eat your heart out! Besides, having I posted enough pictures of trees and lakes. There was Quail Lake, Prospect Lake, Peublo Dam, Arkansa River, Seven falls, Helen Hunt Falls, and to add to the list is Mounement Lake Palmer Lake, and Upper Palmer Lake.
One of my teammates told me about this park that goes around a little lake, then you can hike up a trail and see two more lakes, all covered by nature. Well we didn't find the first lake, but we did find the trail and hiked to the top. Mounement Lake was a recreational lake in the town of Mounement, a pleasant surprise we discovered by accident. Palmer Lake itself was small, but Upper Palmer Lake was well worth the trip. Even though the lakes are frozen, it was sunny with a temp of 65, and we are at 8,000 ft.
In the summer, we will hike up with a raft, blow it up, and paddle out to the middle, this truely is a gift from GOD, just beautiful.

That is so cool. There are so many cool places in CS. I can't wait to come visit! I might just fall in love and never want to come home!
