We finally took the cog rail up to Pikes Peak. Unfortunately, Maggie got a hold of the memory card with the pictures on it so they went bye-bye courtesy of her teeth. There were a few I took with my camera phone so you'll just have to do until we go again. Now the train is a old classic train from Sweden where you get to enjoy marvelous views of the world...or so it seems. Sure the food wasn't the greatest and the seats are cramped, but who wouldn't want to be 14,110 ft above the world!? We did not see too much wildlife besides deer, bald eagles, and muskrats. But a friend of Tina's went the next day at saw wolves, bears, and bog horned sheep....darn. Still...the air was so crisp up there, the view was AMAZING in all directions...it's just something words can't describe.
